hello , have a female bullfinch that built a nest but laying eggs of the perch anyone no why Rolling Eyes

hello, this could be due to a lack of calcium. I use liquid calcium for birds (a kind of CalciBoost). I give them one or two teaspoons pro liter before the breeding time (it's never too late!) during ten days. Good results.

If the bird does not receive the sun's rays directly,is unlikely to be able to assimilate the calcium,i recommend a supplement of vitamin D and E,if you find it with cod liver oil.

hello ive being giving calcium the last few weeks its the aviform calcium with added vit D as for sun ray plenty of light ,the hen bullfinch had no problem last year laying in nest Rolling Eyes

Then you have to have patience,also my bullfinch she did eggs after 15 days since he had completed nest
